Jenny Craig: End of week 2 an update

| April 12, 2012 | 7 Comments

Well that’s 2 weeks of the Jenny Craig diet under my belt. This week has been much harder than last week. Not only because the girls both being off, but because of ….chocolate!

I also requested with Jenny Craig that I sample the whole vegetarian range, and there were a few meals that would not normally be to my taste. I did not think this through really, and left them until last.  So built them up to be something I was dreading, which was silly really.

So my highs have been spending time with my family, only really cheating once, when we visited a friends house and had pizza. I did have two small slices, but salad too, so not too bad. I have been inspired to think of new ways of preparing vegetables to have with the main meals, which the rest of the family have been happy to try with me.  I have also been drinking much more water and fruit tea’s and have been feeling much better for it. Less sluggish!

The Lows: That would be the huge chocolate egg and contents I consumed on Easter Sunday…but felt I couldn’t deny myself.

The Results

So after two weeks I have lost 4 pounds, that is a loss of 1 pound this week.  I was initially unhappy with this, but put it into context 4 pounds is fantastic, especially as I feel, and think I look healthier for it.

I think going forward, if I were to continue the plan, I now have a clear idea what I need to do to continue.   Also which of the meals, and snacks that I prefer in order to do this.

Thank you to Jenny Craig, Cherry and Luise for all of your support.

Thank you for reading

I was on a two week trial of the Jenny Craig plan. The thoughts and words in the post though are my own.

That is fabulous! Four pounds doesn’t sound a lot bit on most diets they recommend two pounds loss per week, so that’s great, well done you!

Sounds like you are doing great. 1lb a week is bang on a healthy and sustainable weight loss. Never done JC but am doing a similar program. It does make things easier.

Your weight loss level of 4 pounds over 2 weeks is wonderful. Congratulations to you on that. Are you planning on continuing on with your weight loss? A slower rate of loss is reported to be safer over all for your health. As I try to remind people, it took a long bit of time to put the weight on so have patience taking it off. Stay focused on your weight loss goals and you can achieve anything you want.
