The Cake Challenge : Red Hot World Buffet

| August 23, 2012 | 6 Comments

We have just had a brilliant morning at the Red Hot World Buffet (Nottingham), decorating cakes. I say decorating Miss A and N spent a fair amount of time eating the decorations too!

I had no idea that Red Hot World Buffet even did cakes, what a brilliant idea. Give your local one a call, or simply give them a visit to order one.  We saw the full range of cakes on display and they looked delicious.

Well the proof was in the tasting as Darshan Choudhari (Head Pastry Chef) made a baked cheese cake for us to sample.  Cheesecake for breakfast I know!! It was amazing, very smooth and flavourful, with the sweet crunch of pistachio nuts around the sides.

Once we had sampled the cheese cake Darshan revealed all of the amazing ingredients that were available for us to decorate our own cakes.

There was so much to choose from.  Miss A (3), and Miss N (10) then set about making a cake with our other fellow bloggers.

and Miss N’s, which she also named…

We are planning on ordering one of the cakes for Miss N’s birthday, carrot cake is her favourite, and so reasonably priced at £12.49 for 1500 gm cake. That’s a BIG cake!

I was surprised and the quality and value of the cakes that were on offer, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. The surroundings and staff were friendly and relaxed, the restaurant spotlessly clean.  Perfect for any occasion….or just because!

Don’t forget to visit the website (www.redhot-worldbuffet.com) or your local Red Hot World Buffet for more details.

Now, for some me time….cake and a cuppa anyone?

Thank you for reading

This is NOT a sponsored post, I just wanted to share with you our experience. We did get to take our cake creations home though!
