I really wish I could enter this competition, it sounds just perfect! Over at the Ideas kitchen they have a competition to win a cookery lesson with Daniel Galmiche, head chef of The Vineyard as Stockcross, Berkshire. Its not just a cookery lesson, here are the prize details:
Greeted with champagne and canapés, 4 lucky winners will get a tour of The Vineyard’s impressive wine cellars and kitchen, followed by a personal cooking lesson with the man himself! The day will then be topped off with a delicious five course tasting lunch at The Vineyard.

I have his cookbook, looks lovely although have yet to try. It has some nice veggie ones. I hope if I win he will do me a veggie tasting menu. I remember being offered a plate of vegetables in France once and thinking it sounded like a rubbish option for vegetarians – it was one of the best meals I’ve ever eaten.

Oh thats brilliant! I’ve not seen his cookbooks, but I will look out for them now. I agree, sometimes ehen I have a meal, Tall Dad (the meat eater) will want to try mine!
