Marisota : Mark Heyes, Ava and I Do Fashion.

Marisota Mark Heyes

Now I am going to admit something here, right from the get go, I am a big, well HUGE Mark Heyes fan.  I love the style edits that he puts together, I think his flair for fashion is amazing.  He seems to produce outfits that have the right kind of balance of aspirational and achievable that I think women really want…and NEED in their life.

So when I was invited to have dinner with Mark Heyes, well I  booked my train ticket bought a new dress straight away of course!  You see Mark Heyes is not just an amazing stylist, he is quickly adding other strings to his already overflowing repertoire, and I had been invited by Marisota to see just what.

Mark started his relationship with Marisota a couple of years ago, making videos for their website. Check out the videos for the Can Wear campaign and Shapeology that Marisota is championing.  They both look at empowering women to wear the latest trends, we all want a wardrobe that makes the most of your assets and minimises the rest, don’t we?

He now has designed a range of clothing for Marisota called ‘AVA’.  This is the first time he has ever actually designed clothing, so when I met him he was a little nervous what people would think.  Well we all loved it, and I am not just saying that. I don’t this there is anything not to love about a range that couples Marks tricks of the trade to help make trend driven clothing, work for you and your shape. No I wasn’t swayed by the little glint in his eye. ;)

He seems to have taken key autumn winter 2013 trends, and in a small capsule wardrobe made them wearable for lots of women.  I have my favourite items, things that I would love to add to my wardrobe.  I am going to leave you in suspense though, as I will be reviewing them on the blog really soon in my very own Mark Heyes Style Edit.

Finally, I wanted to add because it really is great news, Marisota has just WON the Best Plus Size category in the Prima Magazine High Street Fashion Awards! {great work}

Thank you for reading,
