Birds Eye are known to deliver healthy and nutritious frozen food in the UK. We were offered to test out the new Space Shapes chicken pieces at a space themed party this week. Always up for a party Miss A (4) asked if she could invite some of her new friends home after school, I thought this would be a great idea to help with her settling in. Miss N (10) decided she definitely didn’t want to miss it too, as she has just done a space project at school. So with some space themed party things we were all set to go.
We made sure there was lots of colouring pens so they could colour in the menus whilst waiting for me to cook dinner. We also had a quiz to see if anyone could name all of the planets.
Of course because everything in the main meal is pre-made, it was super quick and simple to do. Just a case of pre heating the oven and adding the frozen items to it, and cooking the peas.
Here is the menu :
Planet Peas
Wondrous Waffles
Chicken Space Shapes
Apple or Orange Juice
In the Night Sky – Fruit Salad
(with 5 different fruits)
So what was the verdict of the new Chicken Space Shapes
– Cool Mummy, can I have a moon, a star and a rocket please? Miss A aged 4
– These taste Cosmic! Miss N aged 10
–Love them, can I have some more please… Jessica aged 5
–The best! Ben aged 4
So a definite hit with the children, they cleared their plates, so that was all the reassurance I needed that they enjoyed them. They are made with 100% chicken breast and contain no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives, so no nasty surprises too.
Birds Eye Chicken Space Shapes (14 per 350g) are £2.69 RRP.
This is a review, I was given vouchers to purchase the items above, this is not a paid for post in any way.
