For this weeks I Love Mondays, I am of course going to look at valentines gifts. I do love this time of year, and in previous years I have chosen some lovely items that I would love to receive. Here and here are some gorgeous I love Mondays suggestions from previous years, or how about my idea for a valentines cocktail. This year I am going to let you in on what I have bought for the lovely Tall Dad.
First up, this personalised card :
There are some great ideas on the site for personalised cards, and this one costs from just 99p and is great quality. Perfect, and no trees were harmed in the making of it! 😉
Next up, sweet words – sweet boxes :
I think these are really great idea, and I am sure Tall Dad will love them. White card boxes each filled with different sweets, including : Cola Bottles, Fried Eggs, Kola Cubes, Jelly Babies, Super Shrimps, Love Hearts, Fizzers and Refresher Chews.
Priced at £22.99, they are really quick to arrive too, as they can be dispatched within 24 hours. Great for those last-minute valentine gifts.
Finally, I went for a personalised apple crate. We bought one for my Dad a few years ago, with ‘Granddad’s Prize Winning Garden’ printed on it, I remember Tall Dad loving the idea. This time though, I went for one with our house number on. We have a very strange numbering system on the street we live, so any help is very gratefully received for the postie.
Priced at £39.99, you could go for a house number as I did, or a house name or message.
Fantastic quality, I added a liner (£1) which can be also purchased. I’ve planted it up with a bay tree, and some winter colour. Not your typical gift for a husband maybe on valentines, but I know he’ll love it. The only problem is where to hide it!
