Disney Palace Pets : Review

| February 10, 2014 | 1 Comment

Miss A was in for a treat this weekend, as she had a lovely package of Disney Palace Pets delivered for her to play with.  Well they have been played with non-stop! With her love of Disney and animals this play set couldn’t have been more perfect.  There is also an app you can download for free from the app store, here’s all the info HERE.

This is a new range, aimed at 3-6 year old children, so they can collect all the pet friends belonging to their most loved Disney Princesses.  Great as a birthday gift I think, or if you were buying treats for your child this half term to play with.

We were sent The Disney Princess Palace Pet Pamper & Beauty Salon Set (£34.99)which includes everything you need to pamper and preen your collection of Palace Pets.  A lovely way to encouraging caring and nurturing for animals, or other people.  It comes complete with Summer, who is Rapunzel’s cat.  Summer (number 1 in the photograph above) has magical colour changing nails which appear and disappear with water. Miss A loved this feature, and you use a small brush with a sponge that is included to do it.  There are three styling areas, a spa bath, a place to blow dry hair in front of the mirror, and the styling chair so you can add hair accessories. It includes also hair slides and a hair-dryer.
2 Bloom - Aurora’s Pony (£7.99) is from the Primp and Pamper Pony range. Bloom comes with a brush, hair slides and a trinket box to keep them in. The long tailed ponies that are in the range, are all different, but each comes with a long tail to tame!
3 Pumpkin – Cinderella’s Dog (5.99) is an adorable blue pooch from the Furry Tail Friends collection. She has a huge fluffy tail, and a blue brush for grooming.

Finally we were sent Berry – Snow White’s Talking & Singing Pet. (£12.99)

This bunny rabbit is an adorable, sparkly bowed figure of Berry, Snow White’s bunny.  She has a gem on her necklace collar and pet magically speaks and sings as tiara lights up.  Definitely Miss A’s favourite of the pets I think, because it was interactive.

As we have been playing with the figures, I have been impressed by how well made they are.  I think the playset feels a little thinner, but it doesn’t feel like it would break easily.  Each of the figures heads articulate easily, and the tiaras are all removable.  They each have small details that link them up to their owners, which is a lovely feature.  They each also come with a small booklet which includes detailes about each of the pets, which are lovely to read to your child too.
