I wanted to share with you, a gorgeous picture that my youngest drew, that really shows the spirit of spring. Its a very sunny Easter Garden.
She been learning all about Easter at school, so she is so interested in the Easter story, and elements of the story, keep being used in her drawings. All of her family are there, even some Easter chicks. The hearts at the top of the drawing, are heart flowers, which are blowing in the wind apparently. She has also been experimenting with cress seeds at school, putting them in different environments to see which grow the best. So she as she was drawing this she was chatting to herself, about how the sun was going to make all of the trees and plants grow. Its so wonderful listening to how they are figuring out the world. So clear and unadulterated.
Miss A didn’t want to paint, as she preferred using her new felt tips, but we followed the advice of Creative Crafter, Emma Hull. We cleared a big space on our kitchen table, and I now have the picture in pride of place on my wall by my desk.
