Anyone one else making plans for spring? I love this time of year, where you unashamedly can think about spring like pastel colours, maybe even introducing them to your decor. It’s also a great impetus for new starts and beginnings in your life and your home.
So if you are in the mood for change, whether it be a sorting out your garden ready for warmer times that promise to be around the corner. Or a new piece of furniture, accessories, even larger home improvements. Now might be the time to sit down and make plans. My favourite place to start is the internet, and I’ve spotted a great place with over 100 shops are all under one roof called Lions Home. It makes navigating and finding all of the above just one step easier, as it’s all in one place.
Take for example lighting :
I’m looking for an interesting light fitting for my Hallway, following its recent revamp. So I’ve been looking and lusting at what Lions Home had to offer. So easy to search, as each area you look up has subcategories, so I quickly found ceiling lights from many different companies, including this copper one from John Lewis called the Davey Lighting Factory Ceiling Light priced at £385. I love the warmth of copper, and could see this working well!
Or this modern take on a vintage ceiling light from one of my favourite lighting stores Houseology. Eichholtz Spider Ceiling Light 12 – Nickel at £800.00. A gorgeous industrial style adjustable pendant light fitting with 12 lamp holders. Each polished nickel metal lamp holder can be adjusted to create a different look and angle.
If that’s out of your price range, how about this spring like pop of colour from Amazon, another store on the Lions Home site :
This Philips Ecomoods Friends Ceiling Light with its clean lines, contemporary and simple in design, and at £76.99 it’s also a great price.
So what do you think? If you have a project you are anxious to get started on, how about starting your search at Lions Home.

Great post Amanda! First lamp is really nice but it seems that it is hanging a bit too low?
