Well I Love Mondays is back, and if you are new to the blog, let me explain what it’s all about.
On a Monday, I publish a blog post, that includes some of the things that we love at The Ana Mum Diary. I am trying to help get rid the Monday blues with beautiful things. I will virtual shop for your every need. Perhaps introducing you to something that you haven’t ever seen or place you haven’t been to before. You are in good hands, so sit back and grab yourself a cuppa.
Here in Nottingham I have been making plans to declutter both of the my girls bedroom, calling it an clutter busting clean! I haven’t been neglecting looking online though, I have been looking at some lovely things to spring new life into children’s bedrooms. Here is what I have found from Design Vintage. Continue Reading
Sponsored Post: However, thoughts and words here, are 100% my own.
Following on from an interview last week with a magazine about kitchen utensils that I own, and iconic brands that I use. I took a step back and looked at my kitchen and began to wonder if it really reflects who I, and my family are. The kitchen for us is the hub of the home, because it has seating and a TV in there too, we could pretty much live in that one room. It’s automatically where we would sit down and have a coffee when we invite friends over too. Continue Reading
Today I would like to introduce you to a gorgeous company, that sells amazing girls dresses. I Love Bread and Jam is a small but perfectly formed company based in Oxfordshire, that is the creation of Sofia Dyson, who has two beautiful girls, just like me! Each season they make one style of dress, but in a whole collection of retro inspired fabrics. Bread and Jam’s dresses are very limited editions, full of style, colour and just the right amount of humour to boot. The dresses are 100% cotton, and are made in Wales.
I’m going to pick out a couple of my favourites from the just launched spring, summer 2013 range. This season it is the turn of the Runaway Dress (£29) available in sizes 2-10 years old. It is a A-Line dress, with a large pocket at the front, trimmed in a contrasting fabric.
First up is Barbecue Queen :
I just love this Sputnik like design on the fabric. I can imagine in the barbecue season that it would be a firm favourite. Or when it get a little chillier, with leggings and a long-sleeved top underneath, it’s a great colour-way too.You can see what I mean about the humour now, can’t you?
With such a limited run on each of the size dresses each season, you are also almost guaranteed, not to see another one as well.
Next up Plain Sailing :
I choose this because, it was so pretty, both with the use of fabric design and colour. Bread and Jam dresses are just timeless classic designs, I think. They are given a retro twist with the fabric choices, and a modern one, with the humour that is used.
Now, if you would like to have the chance of winning your very own Bread and Jam Dress, watch this space, as this afternoon I am hosting a competition to do just that. Miss A has also had the pleasure of reviewing a Bread and Jam dress. Hold onto your hats, it’s a beauty!
Just in case you are new to this blog, this is a feature I write once a week, that includes some of the things that we love at The Ana Mum Diary. I am trying to help rid the Monday blues with beautiful things. I will virtual shop for your every need. Perhaps introducing you to something that you may have not seen or been to before. A must see site or new idea that I want to share with you. You are in good hands, so sit back and grab yourself a cuppa.
I’ve a really interesting online store, for this weeks addition of I Love Mondays.
