I was lucky enough to have reviewed the Hilton Hotel in Nottingham, you can read all about it by following this link. Tall Dad and myself rediscovered Nottingham night life, and had the most fantastic time.
Well I am very excited to offer my readers an amazing voucher for £100 to use, in a stay at The Hilton Hotel. You too could have the opportunity to rediscover a city.

Photo-Canvas : Review and Giveaway

A couple of summers ago we spent two weeks in Devon, on a fantastic family holiday. I’ve been meaning to choose a photograph to put up on the wall, as a reminder of that time. Every holiday you take has one lasting memory, and this is mine. Family time at the beach, making sand castles and collecting pebbles. Miss N and Tall Dad mucking about in the sea together, it really was a lovely holiday.
It arrived, well packaged and great quality, with fixings to attach to the wall. The colours are bright, and the clarity true to the image I sent Photo-Canvas. Ordering on the website was very simple to do, and it arrived, three days after I ordered it, very impressive!

I am extremely excited to offer my readers a chance to win a pair of amazing Redfoot shoes. I have road-tested a pair and they are now my firm favourites. Unlike lots of flats they have a cushioned inside that makes them oh so comfortable! They have been specifically designed to be the perfect antidote to wearing uncomfortable heels. They even fold up neatly so that can be placed in the bag provided and popped in your handbag for just such an event!

The Snowman 30th Anniversary Edition : Review and a Giveaway

Did you know that this year marks the 30th anniversary of The Snowman? It seems incredible that it was 30 years ago and I have very fond memories this story.
Well, a special edition in HD is released on Blu-ray and DVD, coming out on November 5th, so we can all relive it again.
We were sent a copy to review, I was surprised that we didn’t have it already to be honest. Snuggled up last Sunday evening, we lit a fire and drank hot chocolate and marshmallows and watched it all together. Everyone enjoyed it, even Miss A at only 3 years old. It’s really magical from start to finish, and has become a tradition to watch it, with lots of families, at the festive season. And what a storyteller Raymond Briggs is! This enchanting tale takes you on a journey with James and the friendly snowman. I don’t want to spoil it, but its a journey James will never forget.
The special features are also really good fun with an audio commentary and Aled Jones and Peter Auty talking about the misconceptions surrounding the original recording of ‘Walking in the Air’. The DVD will be available at all major retailers, including Amazon.
Would you like to relive this journey again? Or perhaps, your children were too young to have ever seen The Snowman film before.
Well, I have three copies of the DVD to give-away, but that is not all.
