I have a fabulous company to introduce to you on the blog today, White Rabbit England. They sell the most adorable things, and I can’t wait to show you what I have been asked to review.
White Rabbit England is the creation of two sisters, Charlotte and Victoria. Born like me in the 70’s they have magical memories of their night lights when they were young. They remember them as filling their rooms with comforting light.
White Rabbit England was born on the first of May 2002, its name stemming from the English folklore custom of saying White Rabbit on the first morning of the month to bring good luck and by because of Charlotte and Vistoria’s very first retailing endeavor – breeding and selling white rabbits to their school friends and neighbours.
They have now expanded their range from fairy toadstool lights to bone china lamps, bedding, gift sets and cushions.I was sent the award wining (Giftware Association, Best UK made gift in 2009) Rabbit Lamp priced at £59 to review, made from white bone china in England. You can view or purchase it on the site HERE.
It was very well packaged, and came with both a bulb to use and a spare. Very easy to ensemble Here it is in place in Miss A’s bedroom but without the light on:
I love it! It has a whimsical and very vintage feel to it I feel, as it’s not coloured it would easily blend into any decor.
Priced at £59 it is definitely an investment piece, but the absolutely beautiful quality in my opinion makes it worth the price tag!
This is with the Rabbit lamp on, but with the dimmed main light on too.
You can see the children’s book, Footprints in the snow which you can also buy from the site together with a soft toy rabbit, next to the lamp. This was written by Charlotte, the co-founder who says:
“The idea is to get little ones in to a bedtime routine, switch on our rabbit lamp, read the story and cuddle the rabbit!”
And here we have it lit in Miss A’s room, with the light out completely. She is still in a cot bed so we thought it would make sense to display it on her window sill. It gives off a really lovely glow and not too bright.
Here’s what it would look like as my bedside lamp:
So that leaves me to say a very big thank you to White Rabbit England for letting me review this beautiful lamp which we will wholeheartedly treasure, simply enchanting!
Thank you for reading
