The Tale of the Shoe Princess ( Featuring Skeanie Shoes )

| August 9, 2012 | 11 Comments

There once was a Princess who lived in a land called Anatopia, she was a very green fingered Princess who loved flowers and nature but above all she loved SHOES! She loved shoes of every colour and style. Being a true princess, she was very, very stylish, but had such delicate feet that if they were not of the finest quality and softest leather she simply would refuse to wear them.

Well Princess Ana of Anatopia was sent a very regal pair of shoes indeed, Skeanie shoes. Have you heard of them dear reader? She had never seen such a pair of shoes before. The were the softest of leather and the shiniest of patent. They moulded to her feet upon wearing and magically felt like shoes that would take her anywhere!

Ana declared Skeanie shoes to be perfect in every way, like wearing her royal slippers! Refusing to take them off, even at bedtime.

Well one day her eldest sister, a beautiful but jealous girl took the shoes from Ana, and tried to wear them too. She pulled and pushed and tried everything to try and make her feet fit into the Skeanie Shoes but nothing worked.

Princess Ana realising that her beautiful shoes were missing raced around the palace searching everywhere, high and low. ‘Where are they?’

Were they in the palace kitchen or drawing room, the pink bedroom or the blue dining room?  She couldn’t find them anywhere!

‘My sister of course!’ She exclaimed and chased into the royal garden.

Her sister was sitting silently on the grass, looking forlorn. ‘What is wrong sister’ Ana glanced at the Skeanie Shoes by her sisters feet.

‘I just wanted to try them, they are so beautiful!’ Declared the sister.

Princess Ana explained to her that they had been gifted to her by the kind people of Skeanie and that unfortunately they didn’t do them for older Princess’

‘But look’ Ana said kindly ‘when I put them on they are the most perfect fit for me’

This was undeniable, and the eldest sister smiled.  They not only looked beautiful and comfortable they were the most the most perfect fitting shoes that she had ever seen her sister wear, and she couldn’t deny her sister the pleasure they had given her.

Princess Ana jumped for joy at finding the Skeanie Shoes, and they both lived happily ever after.
