We have recently been sent 2 Mini (for children) Naked products to try. This is a brand new and Mini Naked launched yesterday – 5 July 2011.
The brand was not new to me as I really support their values, and have used several of their products before. You can browse and buy their full range here.
Naked describes themselves as :
… a range of beauty products crammed with gorgeous high quality botanical extracts and made from at least 97% plant and mineral derived ingredients…
We currently use the Naked skin: bare faced cheek, its great, really suits my skin, Miss N also uses it. I alternate it with another product – as it really helps my skin feel clean.
So the two products that we were sent, have now been duly tested! They have been used several times now by both Miss A and Miss N and here are our results!
Mini Naked Go Ga-Ga Gentle Body Wash: £2.99 150ml
I love the name of this body wash, and it really was as gentle as the name described. Both of my daughters have a tendency to have dry skin, especially on their arms. This product definitely seemed to help with this. There was not a noticable smell or perfume, but this was a bonus for us, as I think this backs up the product leaving your little one as clean and pure as a babies giggle, so cute!
We we will use it again without hesitation and I loved the fact that Naked body care described that you should:
Add plenty of water and use a sponge if required. For best results, finish with a big soft towel and a cuddle…..
Naked for Kids Bananas & Custard 2in1 Shampoo : £2.99 for 250ml
We’ve had a few days of fantastic weather recently, and whenever its warm and we’ve been outside. We do make the girls wear hats (honest) but Miss A rarely keeps hers on for more than 5 minutes…and her hair has gone from a light brown colour to a real strawberry blonde, already this summer. However it’s also a lot drier, and as it’s a little on the wild side anyway – the poor girl has about 8 crowns. I was really looking forward to trying this product on her hair, to see if it tamed her mane 😉
As soon as you lather it up on the hair, it does have more of moisturized feel to it than other ‘baby’ shampoos (which I find quite harsh and almost strip the hair) and once dry, it became more apparent it very soft, shiny and much more manageable.
It also smells divine, this was my eldest daughter favourite point!
A direct quote from Miss N:
Oh Mummy it smells so lush!
And so finally did we go ga ga for bananas and custard YES!
