Unfortunately I have been too busy to even think about making anything recently. Family life has to take priority, and there has been so much happening that I have not really had that much time for myself.
However whilst we were away in London at the weekend, the break was fabulous and very needed! I did visit Liberty and got lots of inspiration, I am very sorry to say I have never been before. But I think from now on, if I ever get down to London, it will be the 1st place on my list. I fell head over heels in love! Though not a lot of handmade items, lots of inspiration for things I would like to make. I did buy a Christmas craft book too, and have resolved to try to have a handmade Christmas again this year…with a sprinkle of vintage thrown in.
So today I have decided to show you another of the paintings that I have. This one is by my sister-in-law.
It is of Miss N, when she was around the same age as Miss A is now.
Here is a close up, click on image to enlarge:
I love it, the colour of her hair is perfect.
Just for fun here is a picture of Miss A……can you see the resemblance?
So that is my contribution to handmade Thursday. I hope to be able to do a post on making a dream catcher next week.
If you have anything handmade you would like to showcase, then please do by following the link to White Lily green You can also see lots of other handmade items. So please get involved!
Thank you for reading

It’s uncanny – I would have thought it Miss A (apart from the hair which does look very Miss N). Love the gorgeous big blue eyes!
