I am lucky to have what feels like an endless supply of apples at this time of year, from my parents garden. I have softened and frozen them ready to make lots of deserts over winter.
I’m always on the look out for different recipes to use up things and was so chuffed when my twitter friend @AudreysCat sent me a link to her site to a recipe for Apple curd . It’s really easy to make, and taste so autumnal!
Once we had made the curd we then set about decorating the jars.
We just used up bits and pieces that we had lying around, and here are the results:
Sterilised Douwe Egberts Jars
Scraps of material and felt
A saucer (to draw around)
Ribbon
Scissors
Labels
A quick and easy craft to do with the children, and great to give as gifts.
Thank you for reading

Oh My God, those looks amazing!!!!! I’ve never had apple curd before, I LOVE lemon curd, so quite interested in this! My parents have an apple tree in their garden, but the crop was terrible this year. Hoping for a good crop next year, maybe they would like to try this!
Note to DH: I knew I should have keep those D E jars!!!!
