When I was asked to do a review for chocolate, I of course didn’t hesitate. I have tried Hotel Chocolat’s products before, and always been impressed. So the Chocolates have now arrived, and here they are:

So the best bit, the tasting! Here is what we at the anamumdiary blog thought of each of the items in the goody bag.
6 Billionaire Shortbread chocolates: I’m not a fan of millionaires shortbread, as I find it too sickly sweet, I think this version is much nicer definitely lighter! The caramel/praline centre was delicious.
Christmas Gift Slab with milk chocolate and dark cookie pieces: This is 40% chocolate with dark cookie pieces. Definitely something to savour as it is very rich but has a mellow ‘chocolately’ taste.
Milk Chocolate Pocket Reindeer: This was tried by Miss N, who declared it delicious, and perfect as a treat whilst watching Xfactor! It was very creamy, and suitable for a childs palate.
Mini Festive Wreath: this was Tall Dad’s and my favourite, it’s is described as the classic flavours of Christmas. Gorgeous slightly spiced taste, it was a mixture of dark and milk chocolate with nuts and lots of YUM!
Overall, this would be a great gift to give to any Chocolate lover. I like the idea of giving it to a whole family, that you were visiting over the festivities too. There is something for everyone!
