Following my post about Cookie Tots with Miss A a couple of weeks ago, you can view it HERE. I promised another post which explained a little bit more about the company.
Kiddy Cook have classes for various ages, even babies can get involved! Previously I wrote about Miss A, who attends a Cookie Tots class (ages 2-4) and loves it!
Well Miss N now attends a Kiddy Cook class each month. Classes are for children aged 4+yrs and take place throughout the year.
Our aim is to get children interested in the food that they eat whilst giving them the opportunity to meet new friends and have lots of FUN!
Children get involved in the whole cooking process from reading the recipes to weighing and measuring the ingredients. Our gastronomic experiments give kids an insight into how different foods come about.
Miss N has attended her first 2 hour session of Cookie Tots. It was held in a fab cafe, with kitchen nearby to us. A small group of 5-9 yr olds at a cost of £25 each (ideally Gerry likes around 6 children aged 4+ ) got together to make, cook and have fun!
We arrived introduced ourselves and set to work making our Christmas goodies!
All the tables were set out with the ingredients, and lots of colourful equipment.
It was up to the children to do all of the measuring and mixing, of course with the help of Gerry!
They very freely asked questions about what they were making and everyone seemed to feel really relaxed.
They even had a chance to do cook in the kitchen.
Dipping the delicious truffles.
Decorating salt dough decorations.
The children made lots of brilliant Christmas treats to take away, we packaged them as if we were giving them as gifts in boxes and cellophane and ribbon.
Here are the Vanilla and homemade Marzipan Sweets and Peppermint creams.
A no cook Autumn chutney.
And we decorated salt dough stars for the Christmas tree.
The morning was such good fun, the group laughed together, asked questions learnt new techniques.
And lastly came home with lots of goodies to sample, plus all of the recipe cards so we could make them all again. Which we will be doing as handmade Christmas gifts.
A truly a wonderful day. I was really pleased I stayed as it gave me lots of inspiration too. It had a big thumbs up from Miss N and she can’t wait for the next session.
Kiddy Cook Parties are also available for ages 4-11 year olds, these can tailored to you, including kitchen experiments and making your own Lunch or Dinner. My favourite is edible jewellery, what a great idea!

That looks amazing! I don’t do enough cooking with mine as we never have the time, but something like this is a really great idea!
