If you follow me on twitter you will notice on my profile, I list my troll bracelet as one of my loves. I have had my troll bracelet for 2 yrs now, my lovely Sister In law gave my two daughters one each. Miss N’s is very nearly complete, and Miss A’s has been squirreled away until she is old enough. Tall Dad luckily realised how much I absolutely loved them, and so bought me one that Christmas, together with two beads.
I have included in this post, photographs of a few of my favourite beads that I own and their meanings.
Here is my bracelet:
I even got a mention on the Trollbead UK site when I submitted my idea for a Fashionista collection, you can view it HERE.
And so to the question of my Trollbead story:
Purple Mosaic: Persian flower mosaic cast in purple with a shiny shadow of diachronic glass.
Well, I liked them on Facebook straight away, and in turn I became a member of twitter and followed them there. Meanwhile my collection grew as I was given beads to represent many different things in my life. To me, my Trollbead bracelet means so much more than just a piece of jewellery it symbolises so much!
Forget Me Knot: Like a promise and a romantic memory in the dazzling beauty of spring that you’ve never forgotten
You will have to bear with me here as I try to explain. My bracelet feel like it has been the catalyst to so many things. I at first started entering Facebook and twitter Trollbead competitions and to tweet fellow trollies. I almost feel like I know them up at Trollbead towers, and love there little updates and facts throughout the day.
Daisy:We know them from our gardens. Little white flowers scattered all over the lawn. And if you put them on a string, they make a lovely garland to give away to someone special.
From there I met other tweeters and people who I now consider my very dear friends. Drawn into the just as addictive world of #magpiemonday and #handmadethursday, I realised I had much more to say than the 140 characters allowed on twitter. So I became a blogger! I have now met lots of my online blogging friends, on holiday, conferences and for coffee and mulled wine. 😉
Pink Desert:A tranquil desert sunrise, the rosy pink sky reflecting like a million small suns in the glittering sand.
I have bought their crafty and vintage wares, I have shared many ups and downs, so much laughter and the odd virtual drink. So I hope that explains a little about what my bracelet means to me and why I wear it every day!
Unity: People in harmony, united by love make the strongest bond. Love unites people, holding them together to create peace in the world.
All images are from Steffens, who sell them online, apart from the first of my bracelet.
