Every Monday I write a post that includes some of the things that we love at The Ana Mum Diary. I’ve called it ‘I Love Mondays’ a kind of antithesis to the ‘I Don’t Like Mondays’ hit by the Boomtown Rats. I plan on helping the Monday blues with beautiful things. I will virtual shop for your every need. Perhaps introducing you to something that you may have not seen or been to before. You are in good hands!
With all this gorgeous sunshine, I’ve got flowers and Spring on my mind.
So for this weeks I Love Mondays, I thought I would add a little chintz into the mix. Chintz with a twist!
I am partial to a little chintz in my house. I have a gorgeous flowery fabric stags head on the wall in my conservatory. I know it’s not everyone cup of tea, but I love it! I thought I would share something similar from Hus & Hem.
Priced at £33.95 it is made from recycled MDF, it comes as a sheet, and you simply pop out the pieces and assemble. No Glue or screws required 😉
Or the understated chintz of Andrew Tanner’s Designs –This is a very cool site. He has the most fantastic floral creations, in fine English bone china. His ‘Chintz Where?’ collection I love, as the crockery is very simple and elegant with just a hint of chintz cleverly hidden.
Priced at £16 for this mug, you are paying for the fantastic quality china that is chintz with a modern twist.
I can not help channelling my inner Hilda Ogden with these three fella’s
Flocked – Delft blue and cream, are £42 for the set and made of earthenware.
I’ve blown the budget with my final suggestion.
The Silhouette Romantic: a set of 3 decorative plates including Love birds, Butterfly Boutique and Louis Chair – £175 for the collection.
So that was my take on chintz. What do think, is chintz old hat?
Thank you for reading

YAY! yes you must treat yourself, if you go on the site there are some other great mugs which have phrases in cross stitch which are cool too!

I’m bit sure I have ever been a massive fan of chintz so it’s interesting to see it in a more modern way! I agree those plates are gorgeous but my vote would go to the ducks, they’re fab!
Amanda (The Ana Mum Diary) says
I know, those duck are GREAT, really made me chuckle! I had a feeling no one would like my deer head *sniff* 🙂

It has to be the stag head for me! I love him. Came across him recently on the Cox and Cox website. Very cool 🙂
