I know it’s officially spring time, as I am not only decluttering and spring cleaning the house, but I have had my hair highlighted. Just so I can pretend to myself the sun has made me a natural blonde. The only problem when I do this, is that I find my hair gets very dry at the ends. As I straighten my hair every other day too, I really do start to struggle with it.
I have been asked to try a new product to me, (available from Harrods, Fenwick and John Lewis £16 for 50ml) Ojon Damage Reverse Hair Treatment Plus. I am already a convert to the Ojon Damage Reverse Hair Serum and it’s had great results on my hair so I was interested in trying this product too.
A clinically proven intensive hair and scalp treatment with a light, comforting scent that instantly helps hydrate and improve the condition of damaged hair. Formulated with pure Ojon™ oil and Rouge Oleifera, the highly-concentrated treatment is rich in essential lipids similar to those found naturally in virgin hair.
Unique Characteristics:
- a rich, dense balm that melts into a nourishing golden elixir to spread effortlessly onto dry hair
- contains our highest concentration of pure Ojon oil
- features Ojon’s exclusive Rouge Oleifera
I have now tested this product and tried it two different ways. Once before a night out, when I had a spare 20 minutes to leave it in before rinsing and shampooing. This worked brilliantly and my hair really did have the swoosh factor. I have also applied the heat of a hairdryer for 5 mins to see if that helped penetrate it any more.
I didn’t see any significant difference between the two. So I wonder if I have achieved maximum swoosh factor now! 😉
However I have got to say I am extremely impressed, and as an intensive treatment this works fantastic on very dry hair and left no residue. My hair shines and smells beautiful. I am now going to save it for my holiday in summer when I know my hair will become completely unmanageable. Not any longer though, as I now have a secret weapon!
