I really wanted to share this photograph, that my Dad took of Miss A when she was having a sleepover at their house. I just think it’s so adorable, and encapsulates her completely.
I used to wonder what people meant when the described their children as old-fashioned. Miss A is so old-fashioned, you would think she was of another era sometimes. She is especially mischievous, but always in a fun way. I find it really hard to tell her off, she melts your heart with a look or a smile.
She will say things at times, that take you completely unaware. Words and phrases you are sure she can’t have learnt anywhere. Her beautiful teeth, so perfect and brilliant white, and her constant chatter!
Determined and singular of mind, she is a creature of habit and loves routine.
She looks like my Mum, I’ve always seen it, but more and more as she growing up she reminds me of her. She has such a cherub like face, a butter wouldn’t melt look. She has my Mum’s curls, but its much lighter in colour. I think she will have my Mum’s cheekbones and bright navy blue eyes, and this makes me smile.
My little Miss A, I love you.
