Mum says the best way to review products for children is to get a child’s point of view. So on most of these kind of reviews Miss A and I, tell her what we liked about the product. She thought it would be a good idea if I reviewed the third series of Olly The Little White Van DVD.
Olly the little white van is a child’s TV programme. Miss A and I watched it and were very impressed! The theme song is very catchy, the only problem is I CAN’T GET IT OUT OF MY HEAD! I straight away realised that Olly’s voice was by the very famous Justin Fletcher, whom me and Miss A adore!
My favourite character is Sally the Red Sports Car. It seems like all the boy cars love her! She’s also a very good dancer. She holds a dancing competition for everyone to get ready for a long day ahead of them. When Olly wins he says ‘ It’s not about the winning it’s about having fun’….very true!
I’ve just asked Miss A what her favourite character was and she said ‘the girl one’. I believe that’s Sally. COPYCAT!
They have two websites 1. http://www.ollythelittlewhitevan.co.uk/ and 2. http://www.ollyslittlehelpersclub.com/. The first one is a link to a website were you can play games, watch clips, get the latest news and enter competitions. Olly’s little helpers club is for parents and teachers to teach children about sharing and helping each other out.
The club aims to inspire children to follow Olly’s lead to help themselves, their family, other people and even the environment but have fun too! They have created fun, engaging online ‘helping out’ resources to provide teachers and parents with the right tools to help inspire young children to have fun whilst helping others.
They also have an app. AND IT’S FREE! Click HERE for details There are two games. One is where you help Olly make some special deliveries and the other is where you help fix up Olly’s broken down friends.
I give this DVD of the third series a very well-earned 10/10! It’s a really good TV show which I would recommend for ages 2-6. I’m 9 but I still enjoyed it. Well I guess that’s it!
