I cant believe I am on my 300th post on my blog, crikey so much has happened during that time. There has been sad times and great happiness, eureka moments, the big 40 and near breakdowns at going self hosted…and that was just Tall Dad 😉
I have attended fabulous events, blog conferences and a even blog camp. Shared secrets, burned the midnight oil with my blogging mates and well, drank far too much vino!
I can hold my hands up and say though, without the help of my family, friends and readers of this blog, I would have given up (perhaps…sort of, maybe… ;)) a long time ago. All of your messages of support, comments, help and guidance have genuinely made it all worth it. Thank you!
I set about making this blog, as a way of recording my little families life, but it has become more than that, and is now an important element within our family. That was so unexpected!
Last week I entered a competition to write a bedtime story. The Feather and Black Midsummer Night Dream Blogger Competition. If you haven’t visited their site, it really is fab. They specialise in bedroom furniture and have the most luxurious adult and childrens beds.
It took me some time to write, and I was amazed at the amount of people who took the time to support me, whether it was by writing a post, or sharing my short story on Facebook or on twitter with others. A Bedtime Story For My Princesses, is very precious to me now, as it is the first one (I hope of many) that I will write for my girls. I am so pleased that I actually took the plundge at long last. Its something I have always wanted to do, so I could pass my stories onto my girls Miss N and Miss A.
So I wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me……
I ONLY WENT AND WON!
So thank you, thank you, thank you!
I shall now go for a lie down, as I think I am still in shock!
Thank you for reading
