I was kindly sent £60 by Groupon in order to review their services and deals. I really took my time, looking over all of the deals, as they hit my inbox each morning. I actually started to enjoy my virtual window shopping each day. I considered one of the beauty deals, at a local salon. I even looked at a short break, for Tall Dad and myself. However after much deliberation we decided we really wanted to use it for something useful, and something really needed in the house.
It may sound boring, but we REALLY needed a new Vacuum cleaner, ours was definitely not picking up, it’s big and cumbersome, and had started to cough and splutter in fact.
When I saw this amazing deal I snapped it up :
The DC25i Dyson Vacuum Cleaner – £225 Including Five-Year Warranty *34% Off*
I have never purchased anything from Groupon before, so I didn’t know how it worked at all. As my purchase was for ‘goods’ and not a service, I thought it might be useful to let anyone who hasn’t used them before what my experience was.
You basically claim the deal, and pay the balance to Groupon. They then issue you with a number, which is your Groupon Voucher code.
The company that the deal is with, then contacts you, once the deal has ended. You then need to input the Groupon voucher, together with contact details. I also needed to pay the postage and packaging directly to them, at £8.99.
The Vacuum then arrived 8 days from receipt of me contacting them.

Disclaimer: I was sent a £60 Groupon Voucher, I was not asked to blog about my experience. I wanted to however share this with my readers. All thoughts are my own and 100% honest.
