I love Autumn, the colours and crispness in the air. Miss A and I decided to have a bit of a walk once she finished preschool and appreciate it. Well I wanted to do that, Miss A wanted to collect conkers and go leaf crunching, and who could blame her.
Here are some of the photographs we took of our afternoon.
The best conker haul EVER!
Oooh good conker haul, keep some by doors and windows and you’ll be spider free!

Really, that’s the best tip EVER thank you for that . Goes off to put conkers everywhere 😉
It is gorgeous out there at the moment – unfortunately our conkers are all gone this week even though my toddler insists that we “keep our eyes peeled” everyday to see if we can find the final few. Love the berry picture.
Awh that’s so sweet! Yes, they’ve all gone here too, think the wind last week got rid of the last few. Thanks for the comment x
Makes me want to eat a casserole and a crumble and wear thick socks. That was a LOT of conkers, I must go on a forage!
It’s even bigger now, though no more left 🙁 I love this bit, just before it gets too cold, but that means we can have real fires…yay!
What a gorgeous array of colours in those shots.
Why thank you, and thanks for coming over to comment!
What a beautiful post. The best time of the year, for sure.
Its great, gorgeous colours, and not too cold!
It was beautiful again today, I’ve had two lovely days with Mr G, it really is a perfect time for 3 year olds isn’t it! Gorgeous pictures, you’ve captured what this time of year is all about xx
Its great, gorgeous colours, and not too cold! I agree, perfect for this age!
Love the conked close up – what a gorgeous photo!
I mean ‘conker’ my phone doesn’t seem to like that word for some reason!
Haha! I wonder why it liked the word conked?
Beautiful photos : )
and a little bit of conker envy : ) we’ve got a meagre haul this year!
I could send you some, we seem to have an abundance this year. Love using them as decoration though 🙂
GREAT haul! Your house will be free of spiders (apparently they hate conkers)
It not working so far….we have a hugest spiders this year, and they are frightening the begeebers out of me!
That is an amazing conker haul, my son is very impressed!
