We received a copy of Ubisoft’s Just Dance Disney Party, a week ago to review. It has been a huge hit! With a 10 and a 3-year-old, who never stop dancing anyway, this was perfect game. I have written many times of our love of all things Disney, so this is just the ticket for us. I also think it would make a great present for a child or family at Christmas. If you have played any of the other Just Dance games before, you will love this too. It’s the same great game, but with a Disney twist.
The idea of the game is to copy the dance moves that are on the screen. You need to not only copy, but make sure, whilst holding you Wii remote, that it is done accurately and in time with the music. I’m not known for my dance moves, as Tall Dad will testify, but even for the in the grove challenged like myself, it is great fun. The girls on the other hand, picked it up really quickly. I love that it involves, actually getting up and dancing, it’s a game that makes you laugh, and you get out of breath, it’s a workout and its fun….result!
There are 25 songs including hits from Disney Channel’s shows and songs from well-loved Disney Movie Classics.
Miss A and Miss N love the Disney Channel, and are very familiar with the songs from the shows. They include Shake It Up, Hannah Montana, A.N.T. Farm, Jessie, Wizards of Waverly Place, Camp Rock, Phineas and Ferb, High School Musical and Good Luck Charlie, which is my favourite. There are also amazing hits from the Disney Movie classics that the whole family know and love like Jungle Book, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella, Peter Pan, Tangled, Aristocats, Mary Poppins, Lilo & Stitch, Tinker Bell, Enchanted, The Muppets and Bolt.
With features such as duets, family fun and party fun where you can use the Freeze & Shake feature and there’s even a Parents Corner which includes useful tools like a non-stop shuffle mode, fitness tracker and a custom playlist.
The Ana Mum Diary would highly recommend Just Dance Disney Party, it’s now our favourite of the series, especially as we all know the songs really well.
