If you’ve not heard of Peer Index, and like me you are addicted to social media, I really recommend that you do.
PeerIndex measures interactions across the web to help you understand your impact in social media.
We want you to learn about the people you influence and see who influences you.
I signed up pretty quickly to the scheme, and it is interesting to see how ‘influential’ you are in certain areas. It definitely seems to be more accurate than klout, I never will understand why I am influential in Turkey, the country not the food!? Peerindex however seems to have broader key areas, that it measures your influence in.
My two main areas of influence according to Peer Index are arts, media and entertainment and leisure and lifestyle. I think that marries up well with what I tweet, Facebook and blog about really.
Peer Index also has what they call Perks from time to time. Whilst I have been signed up I have received a set of glasses, a subscription to Marie Claire, and 10 free movies to download with Blinkbox. All really fantastic things, and I simply pressed one button to see if I was eligible or not.
This week I also received a really fab gift from Flavrbox, via my Peer Index Perks:
It came beautifully wrapped, and would have made a fantastic gift. However I’m keeping it all to myself, sorry! You can order them to be delivered either once a month or quarter, I love trying new things so this sounds just the perfect idea to me.
I’m very excited to try all of the products, especially the Sharpham Park, Speltotto that sounds amazing. The 300 acre estate is run by Roger Saul, the founder of Mulberry. Its a new twist on the traditional risotto, one of my favourite dishes to eat.
I have tried Peters Yard products before, and these artisan crispbreads will be perfect for the cheeseboard we always have at Christmas.
Rossini’s Rubs, look very intriguing, an idea that was conceived by head chef John Crompton, this is a brand new rub so I am excited to see what it tastes like.
The tea by Kandula Tea (who are award winning) and is a pink tea, a blend of Camellia Sinensis leaves and a hint of hibiscus flower…and its pink, how gorgeous does that sound.
Pink’s Organic smoked tomato tapernade, sound completely up my street, perfect for meat or fish, but I especially like the suggestion of loading it onto potato skins.
Even strawberry jam was included, but no ordinary jam, one that is blended with olive oil and honey. This is another brand new concept, this time from Olive Branch, it sounds delicious.
And finally from Baileys Real Food two Jackson Bars, one of which I have tried and was delicious. They are healthy cereal bars, without refined sugar, additives or preservatives.
So overall I am completely wowed by both Peer Index and Flavrbox both great concepts, thank you both for these very lovely treats!
