I thought I would have a go at making some school gate style mood boards on The Ana Mum Diary blog. So here is my first, in hopefully a collection, as the seasons progress.

This post comes with huge thanks to Jen from Love Chic Living, who wrote a fantastic post, explaining how to make a polyvore mood board, using a ‘clip it to polyvore’ button on your tool bar.
I love the idea, that as I see things that I like whilst on the internet, I can clip them to my account, to make a mood board later with them. What a fantastic idea, I think this may revolutionise the way I shop and blog!

Very stylish Mum on the school run in that get up! Can polyvore do just clothes or can you clip other things?
Amanda Cottingham says
I’m very new to it Fiona, but I think lots of things, as long as there is a URL. Great if you are doing an interior moodboard.

Thanks Ana, I’m going to investigate!

I love the oversized coat. What a great way to bring together ideas from different places. I will have to check polyvore out!

I love that! I fear I will never manage to surface early enough to complete such a look for the schoolgate though. I often go up there with my pj’s under my coat!

This is really helpful and inspiring – you’ve persuaded me to have a play with Polyvore too 🙂
