We have recently bought Miss N, who’s 10 a new bed, and had a really good declutter, to make her room feel more spacious and grown up. We’ve had it decorated, and bought new bedlinen, and she’s so pleased with the results.
The one thing that she was missing though was a lamp. We were offered a Vertbaudet flower floor lamp – £65 to review. I’d not even considered a floor lamp for a bedroom, but it works brilliantly. Miss N, loves making videos in her room, so she has been using it for that, directing the light where she needs it. She also had a sleepover with her friend yesterday, and it was fantastic to give subtle light to the room, whilst they were chatting late into the night.
I constructed it, and it was very simple to do. The one thing you need to know though is it takes a G4 20w bulb (available from DIY shops) once you have one of those its plain sailing.
The flower shaped lampshade adds just the right amount of prettiness, and it has a very sturdy base. You can bend the stem, to direct the light exactly where you need it. Its white, and would blend into all colour schemes, we give it a huge thumbs up. Its fantastic value for money, in our opinion as its feels so substantial, and will get so much use.
