Miss A is in bed, after a lovely long bath. We have carefully chosen her clothes together (ahem sort of ) ready for the morning and chatted about what she might expect to do at school tomorrow.
I remember this moment when Miss N went on her induction day, and I’ll be honest I found it harder than the 1st day of school in September. I remember walking home, crying on the phone to my BF who I knew would understand, as she had experienced this with her son the year before.
So, I am very wary about tomorrow. I want her to love school so much, and I am desperate for tomorrows experience to a positive one. I am sure there are many other parents out there, thinking exactly the same thing this evening.
Well Miss A, I hope that you will love school just as much as your big sister does. Enjoy tomorrow, don’t be scared, you will love it just as much as you love Pre-school, I promise. You will giggle, that infectious giggle you have, and have fun with soon to be freinds. Learn to read and write and learn new playground games like skipping to add to your repertoire along with your favourite of duck – duck – goose.
All my love Mummy x

Ah! lovely giggly smile. Hope you had fun and mischief at school Miss A. It reminds me of my 1st day at school and how scared I was to stay away from home.
