Window Art : Our 3M Super Sticky Post-it Note installation.

Post-it Notes set me a challenge to create a piece of window Art using the 3M Super Sticky Post-it Notes. Now I was a little dubious, as I have tried to stick things on my windows before, and it’s always been a disaster. However I need not have worried, as the 3M Post-it Super Sticky Notes have an enhanced adhesive, which holds stronger and longer to a multitude of surfaces, including glass!

So we set to it. The first consideration was where we were going to create the art. I decided that my front window would be perfect, as it really is very boring to look out of, even in summer, so could do with brightening up a little.

Miss A had already decided she wanted grass and flowers so we started to use the Post-it notes to create our design. We soon realised how quick and simple it was to use them, and as the light shone through the paper, it really did look pretty, and gave a gorgeous stained glass effect.

It quickly became a complete garden scene, with flowers, grass, butterflies, and a huge sunshine in the sky. The grass really did give the window art a three-dimensional look.

So we made it even more so by adding the sunflowers, and the teapot and cups, so that Miss A could have a mini teddy bears picnic on the window ledge.

We love it, a little bit of sunshine to our living room!
