I have a really lovely company to introduce you to today. Paper Shaker, which is part of Photobox, offering unique and very beautiful stationery. The options are endless, as though you are able to filter the stationery into ‘Baby’, ‘Invitations’ and ‘Wedding’ really many of the cards have the ability to be adapted to be used for any occasion.
I decided to make two different thank you cards, showing off photographs of our girls, and as both Miss N (11) and I have just celebrated our birthdays, I thought they would be a really nice way to thank people.
Once you have logged into the site (I used my Photobox details to do so, but you can create a brand new account too) you then can view the many, many options of cards available. I wanted a very simple ‘photo-card’ look but actually chose a birth announcement card for both of my designs. I loved that I could choose a one sided square card, as I felt it was more unusual. Also when it arrived, it came with fantastic quality envelopes too. I was able to add some words to either the front and/or back of the card and I decided to do so on the back, leaving space to add a more personal hand written note too.
Miss N was so delighted when she saw the thank you notes, and can’t wait to give them to all her friends.
The second thank you card, we decided to send would be suitable for relatives. It’s a bookmark shaped card, so I thought it would double up as a keepsake too. As with the square card, it was very easy to make using the software on the site, you simply download a photograph you would like to use. I choose a couple to see which I preferred, and settled with this image. You can as before add text, and on this I added thank you to the front too.
Prices vary, depending on the amount of cards you order, and the shape and size of the cards. My cards were less than £20 altogether for 20 cards, 10 of each design. I also used the discount code that was available on the site. They arrived promptly and well packaged too.
So we are all set now as we have plenty of thank you cards for the rest of the year.
