This post is brought to you in association with Bright House.
I love cooking Christmas Lunch, my husband and I, the very lovely and handsome Tall Dad, share the cooking on the day. I must admit he does keep me in check with regards to timing, must be the accountant in him. There is so much pressure though, on something that lasts really, for such an incredibly short amount of time. Even if you, like us, spend time at the table before during and afterwards, chatting and playing silly games. All that planning and preparation, you really want to it to be the perfect festive feast.
Well the guys at bright house have put together a fun an interactive infographic, with lots of advice on helping you make your Christmas kitchen antics go perfectly. From tips on preparation and organising, cooking times and even a guide of the must see Christmas TV. My favourite section was a list a Christmassy tracks, its made me realise, I’ve not listened to any Christmas songs so far. I was very pleased to see my favourite, at number one spot. I wonder if anyone can guess what it is? I’m going to save that though for wrapping time next week, and then Christmas morning, we tend to listen to music all morning, its so relaxing.
Well, I have been organised so far, I’ve already booked my delivery slots for the turkey, local cheeses, even the sparlking red wine, which is part of our Christmas tradition each year. I do hope we don’t need the section about how to get rid of Christmas stains this year, after last years disaster with the gravy! I have also completed my trusty Christmas Diary so let the festivities begin!
