It’s back! I love Mondays is bouncing back into the new year, with a look at some lovely goodies from Wayfair.
If you are not familiar with I love Mondays, let me explain what it’s all about. This is a feature I write once a week, that includes some of the things that we love at The Ana Mum Diary. I am trying to help rid the Monday blues with beautiful things. I will virtual shop for your every need, perhaps introducing you to something that you may have not seen, or been to before. A must see site, or new idea that I want to share with you. You are in good hands, so sit back and grab yourself a cuppa.
There is an abundance of choice on the Wayfair site, but it is well organised, and an easy site to navigate. Some great savings to be made in the sale too. Free postage if you spend over £40…which to be honest with all the lovely things to purchase, would be easy to spend. Go take a look www.wayfair.co.uk.
I’ve spotted some great toy storage ideas on the site, that I love the look of. In the spirit of the new year, and clean slates, and in the aftermath of Christmas, I thought they would be perfect to feature.
1. I love this cowboy pattern storage. These canvas storage bins come in 5 different styles and sizes, plus they are on offer at the moment. Starting at £9 – 15, great value for money I think. They would love gorgeous in a child’s bedroom, as well as be practical.
Ana Tip : Bedroom Tidying
A great way to encourage the kids to tidy themselves, is buy several of these and attach luggage labels with pictures or words (depending on their age) of what the contents should be. I promise it works!
2. I couldn’t resist this distressed container storage, prices £23.67. Robust enough to be used everyday.
Its a good size, as it measures :
- 35 cm H x 27 cm W x 15.5 cm D
Ana Tip : Older Children
This storage can also be wall mounted, so could be easily used to contain an older child’s favourite possessions, or things they want to keep safe from a younger brother or sister. Its a good idea to have storage such as this for older children.
3. Wicker Hampers – this is actually how we store toys downstairs, and it works really well I think. Keep lighter items in the top hamper though, if you are thinking of stacking them. Wayfair sell these hamper singularly and as sets. Priced from £15.
Ana Tip : Toy Storage Style
Storage doesn’t have to be boring, or child like, think out of the box!
4. Stair Basket
Priced from £23, Wayfair sell several different designs, made of various natural things like sea grass or rattan. Not sure how this is a toy storage idea? Well here is my top tip.
Ana Tip : Upstairs/Downstairs
Again this is something we have been using for several years. It gets to the end of the day, and you are trying to get some kind of order back to the downstairs of the house. You always end up with a pile of things (mostly children’s thing) that need to find their homes upstairs. Well rather than leaving them on the stairs, to take up later, try using a stair basket. You can fill, and empty all in one organised swoop. You do need to be disciplined with this one though, and empty it after each day.
So that is my choices of toy storage from Wayfair, I could go with many other ideas, but I shall leave that for another day…
