I try to be really picky about the things that I review on the blog. They really have to be a brand and product that I love to use. Sometimes you get a an offer that you just can’t refuse. One of my loves in life in candles. Simple really, but in the evening, I absolutely love to have a candle burning and flickering in the background. I find the light, and the smell so relaxing.
The Scented Candle shop offer a wide range of candles, holders and diffusers. Now for this review I was given a choice of any candles on the site. I easily made my choice, and added a candle snuffer too, as I have always wanted to own one. They arrived very quickly and well packaged. I hadn’t really put much thought into the scents, they were just ones that appealed to me the most. My eldest daughter Nia, thought it was very funny that I had chosen very wintery scents. Which I must prefer the smell of, I’ve not noticed that before though.
So the candles I went for were :
Prices lidded – festive fudge (5.99) Rounded smell, reminds me of Christmas.
Woodwick – Gold Spun Sugar (20.99) Very warming and sugary, mellow.
Woodwick Candies Pecan (14.99) Warm and slightly spicy scent. Both of these Woodwick candles, crackle once they are lit, so sound a little like a fire. I must admit this took a some getting used too, and at first I blew them out, as the sound worried me. However now, I love the soothing fizzle and hiss.
St Eval Classic Peony (4.89) The only summery scent, and one of my favourite flowers!
Finally a reindeer snuffer (5.99)
I wouldn’t have said “No” to those either. They look great and what a bargain! Loving the reindeer snuffer x
