I have been looking at so many sources for inspiration to add a little of summer to my home, namely my living room. I love the golds and teals and turquoises that I have now but I really would like to brighten up and lighten my living room for summer. Then go back to the darker teals in the autumn and winter. My sofa is a rich gold leather, I have white walls, and lots of warm wood, so I’m looking for something that compliments that.
Here are some of the pins that I have been looking at:

Lush but pale green, with the warmth of the brick works well.

I love this summer take on the antler, which I must admit, has been done to death. This is an interesting new take on it, I haven’t seen before. Soft pink works well for summer.

Or how about lots a pretty candy colours? These appeals to me, as I love eclectic looks. Vintage pieces, and rustic furniture. Gorgeous floral wall hung plates.
I love the subdued beauty of this image, so simple, the warmth from the wicker baskets and glass.

My living room doesn’t have the rustic charm of these photographs, but I love the idea of a cool white walls, with warm wood, and pink accents.
I have only a small budget, so the changes I’ll be making will be small. I do seem to be drawn to the soft pinks and candy colours the most though, and I’ve had plans to change my fireplace through the seasons, but I’ll save that for a another post.

Beautiful ideas Amanda all of them! I want that kitchen so much, and the cushions remind me of what I am trying to find for the den.
