Its back! What do you mean, you didn’t notice I’d not done it for a while? Life sometimes gets in the way of routine for blogging and my weekends have been a little manic, so I’ve been missing my I Love Mondays deadline. I knew I should have called it Tuesday Treats…ha!
If you are new to The Ana Mum Diary, then I Love Mondays is my way of cheering up my readers with some lush and lovely items. It could be a new find, online store, or something I have purchased, and think you will love as much as me.
Well this is a post has been brewing for a while, since summer in fact.
Have you heard of Hema? They’ve been around for a very long time (1926) and are a Dutch store, that has now hit our shorelines. I visited one of their stores when Tall Dad and I were in Amsterdam. They have (I believe) three stores in the UK so far, all of which in the London area. I do hope that they expand to the rest of the country (Nottingham first please!) soon.
I thought I would show you some of the items I picked up :
The main thing is the products are so fab, and the prices are even better. So reasonable, that I may have filled my suitcase with them in Amsterdam..don’t tell Tall Dad, he couldn’t understand why it was so heavy on the way back!
The top roll is actually sticky back plastic, how cute is that? I’m hoping I can use that on my Cricut Explore machine.
A huge marzipan sweet, that was crying out for me to buy it. Can’t actually believe it’s lasted this long! They even sell make-up, you hopefully can spot the orange nail polish.
Lots of washi tape and notebooks. I filled my present drawer with these, as I think they make great little present for both my girls and their friends throughout the year. Now I’ve just concentrated on things that I could easily transport, but following the success of the new stores in the London area, they have now opened an online shop. Here is the link to the HEMA online shop. You will be amazed at the things that you can buy, clothing, pushchairs, blankets, cushions, cookware, craft supplies, watches and sunglasses the list really does go on and on. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for Christmas?
So go visit, and grab yourself a bargain!
