My style choices change from day-to-day. Honestly I love so many different interior styles I would be changing my home all the time, if I had the chance. When I think of a family kitchen though, I think of something homely, bustling, spacious and clean with a big table in the centre, that gathers the family all around it.

Fab post, your dream kitchen sounds like my kind of kitchen – especially the bit about kids quietly doing homework around the table!! The kitchen I have has no room for a table and I long for that big farmhouse rustic style dining set in the kitchen so it could be the hub of the home. Stand alone dressers are a good way of creating a welcoming, personal touch to a kitchen too, rather than conventional cupboards. I also love the cake and bread smells, but if I bake – I eat!!

When I move to the country can you design my kitchen? Thanks 😉

Your perfect kitchen sounds fabulous, let me know if you ever get it and I’ll pop round for coffee (from the posh machine) and freshly baked cake 😉 xx

Oh Amanda that is lovely….. yes somewhere to scoop away the homework would be fabulous and loved that you include the home grown herbs ad baking aromas.

the kitchen is the heart of the Home for me so big table, open space and lots of white but more importantly storage. I want nice clear surfaces
