I’ve never had an adult advent calendar, never really saw the need if I’m honest. That was until I spotted the Yankee Candle offering this festive season! I do love a candle, especially one that is scented. What better way to mark each day until Christmas than with a gorgeous smelling candle each evening? It’s not even advent yet, and I’m excited!
I love that it’s a 3D winter home, complete with snow and Christmas lights. Its going to be on my coffee table in pride of place!
Behind each of the 24 doors is a seasonal smelling tea light. Well behind 23 of them really. Candles with smells like:
– Candy Cane Lane
– Christmas Garland
– Snowflake Cookie
– Sugared Apple
– Christmas Cookie
– Christmas Memories
– Spiced Orange
What’s behind window 24? Well that would be a larger Christmas Eve votive. I did sneak open the first window of the calendar (I know I cheated) but wanted to give it a test. The tea lights are individually wrapped, so they won’t lose their scent, you can see the first one below.

Oh that is GORGEOUS! I can see why they’ve sold out. I’m going to go check out my local Yankee shop tomorrow…this would make a fab present for my mother in law xx
I love this!! I have seen it so many times but I never got round to buying it. Will keep an eye out to see if it comes back in stock.
What a great idea, I love candles and a different one each day would be bliss
I saw the Yankee Advent calendar last year and thought it was such a good idea. The only thing that slightly dissuades me is that I may dislike some of the fragrances. I think it makes an ideal early present though.
