Well in the spirit of new year, I have made a few changes to the blog. A new look, which I love, and that was all thanks to the very talented Stacey Corrin, I have a new style project that will be starting, details of which I will share with you later next the week. My longest running feature on the blog – I Love Mondays, where I share my favourite internet finds with you, is going to have a little bit of a name tweak for the new year. It will be known from now on as simply I Love… The reason for the change? Well to be honest I think I was the only one who really got the Boomtown Rats irony!
I was asked last week by a friend, what plans I had for the year ahead, and so I thought I would use this post to sit down and collate what plans I have ahead.
In terms of my home, I am looking to revamp my hallway (yup, I need to finish this still) as well as both of my daughter rooms. I’m also going to make a plan to declutter one room every week in my house. Once I’ve done this I’ll then look at each of those rooms (one a week again) and see what changes I need to make, touch up the paint work, buy new cushions for example. As I work from home, it very easy to fall out of love with your home, as you spend so much time in it. I’m not at that point, but I do think I need to make some changes to make it work better.
My life: Well, to go travelling would be my ultimate wish, but with school this isn’t really possible, but hopefully a couple of holidays together as a family. To have fun, and adventure, and try new things is also on my list. I’m not sure what though, I still need to give that some more thought. I will write these down though, as I feel more focussed once I do, and able to achieve them.
I may alter this post, as I think of more ideas though, keep it running as an open post.

I like the clean lines of decluttering room by room. I find I declutter the same room over and over – our open plan living / dining / kitchen area, which inevitably is the dumping ground for everything that comes in the house! But paying attention to the other rooms would make me feel on top of things, one a week seems manageable. Hope your projects are going well so far.
