Today really felt like spring had sprung! So much so that, I even chanced a little breakfast in the garden, this is actually the courtyard at the front of our house. I took our new Bergamo chairs from MDM furniture and the gift I’d bought for the Tall Fella (my hubby) for Valentines day, the white table. The white table is kinda cool, because the top lifts for you to put ice and drinks in. I knew he’d love it when I saw it, and I thought a table for two for Valentines day was a romantic idea. So once the table and chairs were set up, we added a little coffee and croissants to enjoy in the early morning sunshine.

These chairs feel heavy and are really strong and sturdy but with a simple sleek design. They are actually so strong they are sold as suitable for bars, cafes and restaurants as well as for home use. The Bergamo chair is available in many different colours, including red, green, white and black. I feel this chair would fit well with many interior designs, its modern but also has a cool retro feel.

I don’t usually use the chairs outside though, but I do think they work brilliantly as spare chairs to do just that in spring, before we bring our big summer set outside. What I’ll be using one of them for is, to replace my desk chair in my home office with. It is so much more comfortable than the one I had there previously, and has been a much better support on my back. The second one, is also in my office area, for when I need an extra seat. Though I work from home alone, I do sometimes do things with other people, so it will get lots of use.
I am so delighted with these chairs, the look and feel so substantial for the cost of them too.

I love those chairs!! Do you happen to know if they come in white? Or Aqua/teal? I like the blue you’ve got too, but they wouldn’t go in our house. Love these!!
