For this months style challenge the style team have been on the lookout for throws or blankets to keep you warm now the weather is turning decidedly autumnal. Well I found this one a breeze, as I have been eyeing up a particular style of blanket for some time.
Melin Tregwynt have been making blankets for over 100 years. These blankets are not just fabric they are a pieces of Welsh history, and ones that have been brought bang up to date.
There are many designs and colours available, and the Melin Tregwynt fabrics have even been used this AW15 by fashion designer Colenimo, with flared trousers and shorts made from Melin Tregwynt Welsh blanket fabric.
PATRWM PATAGONIA POBOL : Throw £140 Kingsize £271
I covert owning one of these blankets so much, I would love one for my sofa, or even for my bed to add some colour pattern and texture this season, just beautiful!
CARTHERN : Throw £115 Kingsize £299
They are a design classic, brought up to date, I must have one!

Love the patterns, both styles are gorgeous, and they look very strokeable too. Think I would prefer to stroke the throw format to the flared pants though 😉
Jen says
A lovely selection Amanda, have always loved Melin Tregwynt, love these soft shades too.
Becky says
OOh i do like a bit of tartan (bay city rollers and all that! )

Love the blanket covered chair – the pattern reminds me my welsh grannie who had lots of throws stashed away

Don’t hate me A! I’ve plumped for Jen’s as my favourite throw, but I do love yours too! I like the Graham and Green Honeycomb throw in this post too: http://www.arloandjacob.com/lazy-sunday-top-five-cosy-throws
I’ve got serious throw envy now – mine are all IKEA, I need an upgrade 🙂
