I have had a really great but very busy week this week. As you read this it will be my birthday (9th September) and I will back down in London doing a very exciting photography project that I will fill you in on next week. Hopefully I will also get chance for a glass of celebratory Prosecco or two with the Tall Fella (aka my husband) who is joining me.
I mentioned last week the exciting news about being chosen as an ambassador for the Dubai Tomorrow Campaign. If you were following what I was up to on Tuesday you would have seen that I was having great fun at Waterloo Station with my fellow ambassadors Emily and Katie on the Visit Dubai stand.
If you are heading to the big smoke this weekend, then I would definitely recommend that you check out the stand. Especially as each day you are in for a chance to win a trip to Dubai. I so wish I could enter this!
This is a game where you turn a 360 degree ball around the sites of Dubai whilst trying to find letters to spell out ‘Dubai’
There are lots of people at hand to help you, as well as chat to you about Dubai as you work your way around the three activities that the stand has. Each activity you do increases your chances of winning!
My favourite had to be the amazing VR headsets. With an incredible 360 degree view of Dubai I felt like I was actually there. You even do a sky dive, looking up I could see the man I was tandem skydiving with, and below my feet dangling in the air, it was crazy!
I definitely recommend heading down to Waterloo if you can, especially if you are thinking about going to Dubai, I can’t think of a cooler way of learning more about a place you want to visit than this. Dubai for me offers exactly all the things we look for in a break. Good food, activities for the children, culture and fun. Oh and masses of photo opportunities. The stand will be there until the 11th of September, so there is a little more time. Don’t worry if you can’t get down to Waterloo you can still be in with a chance of winning some prizes by heading to the Dubai Tomorrow website, which is also a great resource for planning that trip too.
