Today I want to share with you one of my Christmas Magic Moments, and then I’m going to ask you to share your magic moment, in order to be in with a chance of winning a Lindt hamper. It doesn’t need to be anything big, just something that you do as a tradition in your home. It could be post or pre Christmas Tradition, anything that says the holiday season to you and to give us all a little Christmas inspiration!
Ok, so here goes mine….
Christmas Morning – Even when it was only Nia, we, like most parents, are awakened at a crazy early time in the morning, to giggles and excited whispers. We always follow a bit of a routine in the morning, and the girls climb into our bed, whilst the Tall Fella goes downstairs to check if Father Christmas has been, and to most importantly check if there is any reindeer poo. Don’t read this bit kids. This is code for quickly setting up the camera to capture everything. Its only after we have been given the all clear that we unleash the over excited girls into the living room. As my husband and I look into their faces as the gasp at the tree with gifts underneath, and the over stuffed stocking on the mantle. I love those first few minutes, all the anticipation of the last few days and weeks seem to bubble up into smiles and laughter. Oh I just can’t wait!
Next job is to get that Christmas music on (I’m partial to The Bublé) as we make a quick coffee to start the day off. We don’t tend to have breakfast, more of a brunch, which because we’ve been woken up about 4 am probably is around 9am. It’s the one day of the year, I really don’t mind the kids filling up on all of that Christmas chocolate, in fact I might even join in too, and then it is present time.
So now’s your chance to share a Magic Moment at Christmas to win the below hamper :

The elves ring our doorbell on Christmas Eve and leave our Christmas Eve box outside. It’s filled with new pyjamas (including for us), sweets and chocolate goodies, a Christmas DVD and Christmas stories, plus the kids’ sacks to leave out for Santa. We both have traditions that we’ve brought with us from our own families, but my favourite thing about this one is that it’s completely new for our little family.
