How do you organise your beauty products? If you are anything like me, I like to have everything I need all in one place. So a complete beauty regime/routine all together. I also like to swap around my beauty products, the only issue with this, is it’s a pain to keep everything organised. Well, all I do now (after struggling to find things when I’m in a rush) is have my routine all together in a basket. I add to it anything that I am testing or reviewing as well, so that I remember to use it. I also have a really small little notebook, just in case I need to note down anything. What can I say, I love to be organised!
This is what my basket looks like at the moment (its from a supermarket and costs around £2) it’s got everything from cleansers, toner and facial oils as well as a roller I’ve been testing from The Body Shop.
Amongst those items, are some new products that I’ve been testing out from Tropic. Each of the products are wrapped in a tropical print paper, which I think is a really fun way of dressing up the products. Once de-robed they look very understated and classic in design – see image below.
In order of the photograph, there were four products I’ve been trying from the Tropic range, all are available to buy online HERE .
- Eye Refresh – £15 With a stainless steel rollerball applicator that gently massages your eye area to help improve circulation, this super-cooling blend of cucumber, arnica and ginseng extracts instantly hydrates and helps reduce puffiness and dark circles. Dark and puffy eyes are a new thing for me, but boy do I have them now! I did find this cooling and refreshing around the eyes and I found my eye felt less tired generally, so it’s a good one I think.
- Eye Revive – £20 Powered by a blend of skin-firming, collagen-boosting flower and fruit extracts, this supercharged eye cream uses encapsulated vitamin technology to dramatically reduce signs of ageing around the delicate eye area. I really loved this and I would definitely repurchase. It’s a lovely rich formula and though I was put off by the stronger scent around my eyes it didn’t irritate at all, just left the area feeling moisturised and smooth. It contains both encapsulated Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Acid.
-
SKIN REVIVE – £22.00 Packed with 20 different skin-loving fruit, flower and seed extracts, this nutrient-rich daily moisturiser hydrates, protects and nourishes your skin for a healthy and more radiant complexion. This is a great value moisturiser I think at £22. It left my skin really feeling great. I’ve been experimenting with splashing my face with a little water first before using moisturiser, and this method worked really well with Skin Revive as it really seemed to lock that moisture in. Again this is quite heavily scented, but this didn’t irritate my skin, I think actually its the fruit and flower extracts that you can smell like Rose Geranium, Lavender, Sweet Orange and Frankincense. This product also has Hyaluronic Acid in it.
-
Smoothing Cleanser – £16.00 With a luxurious blend of uplifting eucalyptus, golden jojoba and avocado oils, this refreshing cream cleanser effortlessly melts away makeup and impurities to leave your skin feeling unbelievably soft and clean. Comes with a free, naturally antibacterial face cloth, made from 100% organic, sustainable bamboo fibres. I’m a huge fan of something that I can take into the shower with me, and this is exactly that. It left my skin feeling very smooth and clean afterwards, not tight at all. I did have to take my eye makeup off separately, but this is something I usually do anyway.
So that’s it from me, and a little peek into how I organise my beauty products. Maybe I’ll show you how I organise my ‘over spill’ soon!

Hi Amanda!
I like to keep my most used skincare products together in a basket too!
Tropic was always a brand I associated with tanning but I’m slowly becoming more aware of their skincare range too. The soothing cleanser sounds lovely – I like products that can take makeup off with minimal effort or rubbing. Shame it doesn’t remove eye makeup but still sounds like a nice product to use quickly in the shower.

Hi Amanda,
Thanks for sharing this. I haven’t use any products from Tropic but after reading your article I think I will give them a try. By the way, I love your idea of using a basket and notebook to organize the beauty product.
