I wanted to share with you something I attended locally, but actually is happening all over the UK. I’ve always thought of Jessops as one of the top places to go for camera advice. So when I was invited to my local Jessops Nottingham, to see its new look, I wasn’t disappointed, it looks GOOD!
As soon as you step through the door, you can see the changes. It looks modern and light and doesn’t feel intimidating as some camera shops can. Which brings me onto the fact that the new look Jessops in Nottingham really is much more than a camera shop. It was very inspirational, with lots of ideas on how to bring those images that you have on your phone, camera or cloud to life.
I had a go at printing some snaps of mine directly from my phone. You don’t have to, but I set up an account so that I could start to collect a few images for a photo book, which I want to give as a present later in the year. It was really easy to do, but one of the Jessops experts was at hand to give me a little help. I could even log onto my Flickr account and grab them off there too.
The store is full of ideas of how to ‘set your photos free’ from frames and albums to calendars, cushions and makeup bags. They have a really good selection of image printing for wall art, even printing on aluminum and acrylic as well as phone cases.
A good solid selection of cameras, lenses and accessories can also be found. I tried not to linger to long in that section, I have three cameras, and way to many lenses all ready.
Have you been to the new look Nottingham Jessops store? Let me know if your local Jessops has also reopened and what do you think?
