I’m sure if you follow me on Instagram you will know I am on a no buy year. This means that for the whole of 2019 I won’t be purchasing anything for myself, including makeup, beauty or skin care. My aim to use up things rather then buy more, and only allow myself to buy things if I have completely run out of a particular thing. I am also being really careful when it comes to allowing myself to review items on this blog and on social media. Whilst I know its a very normal thing for bloggers to be involved with. The point of my know buy year is for to look at myself and my buying habits and consumerism as a whole. I do get contacted fairly frequently about products, and I am very careful about who I say yes to. I was recently contacted by Lighthouse Clothing and after a little research, I decided they were just the company that I wanted to work with this year.
I decided to go for three items, coat scarf and a top. You can see them all above.
Riviera Scarf – Rose Pink Floral -£15.95
Bayside Shirt – Broderie Anglaise £39.95
A grandad style colour, but slim fitting and very feminine. I love this 100 % cotton top. I always think white looks so fresh and clean. I love that it can be dressed up or down. I’ve worn mine with a pair of dark denim jeans, as well as red tailored trousers.
Rathlin Jacket – £99.95
You need a raincoat of some description in your spring wardrobe in the UK. It’s 3/4 length and both wind and waterproof. It has a cotton rich exterior and a cotton blend internal lining. With a storm flap detailing its an absolute staple to any wardrobe.

Overall I’m a big fan of the brand and was impressed with the quality. All items were a good fit and in my opinion very true to size. I also think they are good quality for the price. Though this is the top end of what I would pay, they are all classics that would definitely come down to a minimal price when you look at the cost per wear.
