Lychee Peony – Luxury Soy Candles
Aubrey Bay is a candle company from a husband and wife team whose passion is for high quality, ethically sourced candles. Well when I opened this package not only was I blown away by the simple and graphic design of the candle, but the smell…boy it was good! It really does smell expensive and it actually reminds me of a perfume I used to wear many years ago, that I believe is now no longer made. If you, like me like stronger smelling candles, on a scale of 1-10 I’d say this particular scent is at 8, which is perfect for me. An expensive and layered scent that has the following scent profile :
Top notes : Raspberry and Lychee
Middle notes : Peony petals and Peach Nectar
Base notes : Jasmine, Leaf Green and Rosewood
The candle is truly well made and actually are made to order which makes them feel very special. There’s a double wick, so in my opinion and experience helps the burn to be even, so having less wastage. The glass is recycled and the candle is 220ml. There are six different candles in the collection, so a variety of tastes are accounted for. I must admit this week, burning this candle has been a real treat every evening. Something so relaxing and calm but feels decadent too…love it! It would also make a great gift.

Hi Angie,
Although all the candles are beautiful, the lychee peony is lovely and one of my personal favourite scents. Good luck if you’re entering the competition 🙂
