Angela Langford nourishing face oil kiwi seed & arctic blackcurrant – 15ml £20.50. Repair and Renew
I have been given bottle of Angela’s face oil to review and I wanted to let you know my thoughts on it today. I have reviewed Angela Langford Bloom & Glow a couple of years ago but this was a new variation of oil I hadn’t tried before. I actually need it at the moment as it’s primarily for dry and damaged skin and mine has been looking very tired. I think lots of people, like me, have stressed-out skin at the moment, so its a perfect time to think of giving it a little nourishment.
Angela says… “This face oil is perfect if you have dry, damaged skin, or if it is losing its elasticity. This is your recipe for smooth, nourished skin.”
This face oil contains kiwi & arctic blackcurrant, both of which contain huge doses of vitamins & antioxidants which repair, protect & moisturise your skin.
What’s in it?
Full of natural ingredients, the carefully thought out in the repair and renew oil recipe has the following ingredients amongst them :
Natural vitamin E which is in there to increase the rate at which healthy new skin cells are renewed. It also has vitamin A which is an important ingredient in natural skincare as it nourishes your skin, reducing the signs of ageing. There’s Kiwi & rosehip in there that contain high levels of healing & repairing omega 3, which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, and rice bran which is softening & boosts the appearance of tired looking skin. Arctic blackcurrant is full of omega 3 & 6, giving it excellent skin rejuvenation properties.
Did I like it?
I think one thing to note is this doesn’t contain anything to make it smell not like oil. So if scent is important to you in skincare, this is the kind of oil that smells very natural and doesn’t contain anything to artificially scent it. Personally I love it.
I used it daily, just a couple of small drops after my serum but before any moisturiser. I also tried a little on the very ends of my hair, just the tiniest of amounts as I wondered if it would help the texture. It did! I added a couple of drops to my hair the night before I was going to wash it and it definitely made a difference. I love looking for different uses for oils and I also used this on my hands which were really dry around my cuticles and on my lips. Adding oil to your routine is something I can definitely recommend if you haven’t tried it.
If you are looking for something a little more intense I used this under a night treatment mask which really sealed in all of that moisture to my skin. So overall yes I love this oil and its a real treat for the skin…hair and lips!
